If your gym is more than twenty minutes away, it will eventually drop off. Traffic, weather, work pressure—something will push it off your schedule.
The ideal gym isn't the flashiest. It's the one you can reach even on days when you're tired and not feeling it.
Match the Environment to Your Personality
Some people flourish in crowded, high-energy environments. Others get overwhelmed when it feels busy or chaotic. Neither preference is wrong, but picking the wrong setting can cost you.
Notice how you feel on your initial visits. Energetic or drained? Focused or scattered? That reaction matters more than any features.

Go during the exact times you plan to train. A calm lunchtime tour won't reveal how it feels at 7 PM.
If you already dislike waiting for machines or crowding during a trial, they'll frustrate you much more once the novelty wears off.
